About me..

🔬 Welcome to Queen of Curiosity! I’m Teacher Jolande, a passionate educator who began teaching in a brick-and-mortar classroom back in 2015. My journey in education has always been driven by a desire to bring more technology into the classroom. When used right, tech makes learning more engaging, efficient, and—most importantly—fun!

In 2023, I began exploring online teaching to gain more flexibility. By 2024, I took the plunge into online education, and looking back, I can already see how much I've grown.

While biology is my true passion, I’ve taught a wide range of subjects over the years, depending on what was needed. This has given me a unique perspective on the challenges students face, and it's why I'm dedicated to creating resources that help learners truly understand their subjects. My goal is simple: to make science and learning more accessible for students, while also saving teachers time—because I know how precious that is!

I'm not the most "Pinterest-perfect" teacher, but I’m always curious—whether it’s seeing something in nature (thanks, cats!) or stumbling across a brilliant resource or mental health tool. I’ll save these things... then forget where I put them. That’s why I created this blog: to build a resource bank for myself, my learners, and fellow educators. It's a place to save, share, and revisit ideas that inspire us.

Let’s spark curiosity and make learning exciting! 🌟
